ASQS enterprise perspective

Risk management begins before work starts.

Different assignments create different hazards, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements. ASQS uses a risk-aware approach to understand the environment, define responsibilities, identify required qualifications, and establish escalation before deployment.

Clients, employees, managers, vendors, and service partners each have responsibilities. Those responsibilities should be documented in the applicable scope, agreement, assignment instructions, and site-specific procedures.

Framework

The safety framework

Controls are adapted to the work rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all checklist.

01

Scope and hazard review

Identify tasks, environments, equipment, materials, access conditions, vulnerable populations, travel, physical demands, and foreseeable hazards.

02

Qualification and preparation

Confirm assignment-specific screening, credentials, training, protective equipment, instructions, and supervision.

03

Incident and concern response

Provide clear reporting routes, immediate response expectations, documentation, escalation, and follow-through.

04

Learning and prevention

Review incidents, near misses, trends, feedback, and corrective actions to reduce recurrence.

Operating model

Risk-control lifecycle

Every engagement should make responsibility visible.

    Identify

Understand the work, setting, people, contractual allocation, and applicable requirements.

  2. 02

    Control

Use elimination, substitution, engineering, administrative practices, and protective equipment as appropriate.

  3. 03

    Communicate

Give employees and partners understandable instructions, contacts, reporting routes, and stop-work guidance.

  4. 04

    Improve

Document what occurred, assign corrective action, verify completion, and update procedures.

Commitments

Core expectations

  • Good-faith reporting without retaliation
  • Assignment-specific safety preparation
